Missions and Community Outreach

Based on the Great Commission, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20), Community Missionary Baptist Church honors its call to bring glory to God by making disciples for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach out to people locally, nationally, and throughout the world. Mission work is an enormous endeavor and therefore requires the involvement of the entire church by either praying, giving or going.

The CMBC Outreach Ministry exists to engage our church family in reaching out to one another and our community. This involves, but not limited to, community projects, training, financial support for local and foreign mission works, and mission trips. Various Outreach Ministry activities are advertised and placed on the calendar as they are developed and scheduled.

The CMBC Mission and Outreach Ministry serve as an umbrella to a variety of ministries and partners with the pastor to facilitate life changes. By showing, through our Mission and Outreach Ministries, that we care and are concerned about the physical and spiritual well being of others, we have a platform from which we can share the love of Jesus Christ both in word and deed.
