Children's Church

The Community Missionary Baptist Church Children’s Department serves to support our children with basic biblical Principles. The Children’s  Department here at Community Missionary Baptist Church will give each child the proper tools they will need to build their solid foundation that is made my brick. Here at Community our children’s salvation, growth, knowledge and lifestyle is our main priorities. We will provide a solid, correct and sound educational program that’ll encourage spiritual growth within the children here at Community! All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Our Goal for the Children’s ministry is to gain our identities in Christ so we can identify as true disciples of Christ within today’s culture. Identity begins with knowing who you belong to and once our children know who they belong to, they can fully embrace who they are in Christ. For our desire within this ministry is to identify as the hands and feet of Christ. We want to raise kingdom minded citizens within this culture so they can live out the call of being ambassadors for Christ. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Our mission is to create young disciples in Christ! Walking each day of our young lives, living to make Jesus known. We Don’t only want to BE disciples but we want to encourage our children to make disciples in their communities as  Jesus has commanded us to do. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 289:18-20).
