GOD'S RESOURCES

God’s Resources Ministry is comprised of human resources professionals who are members of CMBC.  This ministry exists to provide a forum to share information and provide leadership on employment issues affecting CMBC members as well as to assist those seeking employment. By doing this, we create a stronger workforce, have more productive communities, and enhance the financial stability of the church. This will occur through the facilitation of seminars, workshops, career fairs, and building strategic alliances

One’s basic physical need for food, water, sleep, and shelter must be met before one’s spiritual needs can be addressed.  Maslow emphasized the importance of self-actualization, which is a process of growing and developing as a person to achieve individual potential. God’s Resources wishes to assists members of CMBC and the community with obtaining and retaining employment so their most basic needs are fulfilled and their spiritual development can begin.

This ministry is dedicated to assisting CMBC Members and the community as they embark on a journey of discovering careers and opportunities that are available to them and through this guidance they prepare for employment which leads to self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. In addition to those seeking employment, this ministry will enlighten employees on their rights and responsibilities by providing coaching and counseling regarding general employment practices.

 Our Goals:

  • Prepare candidates to be the most  attractive to potential employers by enhancing resumes and conducting interviewing skills workshops;
  • To assist candidates with recognizing their successes and use them for advancement opportunities;
  • To ensure employees are aware of their rights and responsibilities through seminars and workshops; and
  • To earn the satisfaction, respect, and trust of your employer.
