Considering Becoming an Usher?
The Usher Ministry serves as the “Door Keepers” in the house of the Lord. The ministry of ushering is a vital part of Church ministry; it represents the church in a visible way in setting the tone for worship service. The usher ministry assists in providing an atmosphere that reflects Christ centered hospitality. Ushers serve as hosts and servants as they greet members, friends, and visitors when they enter the sanctuary, assists worshipers with seating, provide directions, and control movement and activity in the sanctuary, especially at the door, throughout service. Ushers are courteous, kind, warm, inviting, and sincere in promoting a glorious worship service of praise and honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
